Are you already thinking of becoming an entrepreneur?
Do you dream of starting your own business, and escape the harsh realities of a 9 to 5 ?
Does being your own boss sound super tempting to you?
Mr. Google is giving you Devine guidance, isn’t it? Based on your searches, it is now re-affirming to you what you wanted to hear: Leave your job! Start a side-kick, launch a course, etc.. but you haven’t done anything yet, why not? What is keep you from starting?
Let’s do this together, right now, get yourself and piece of paper and a pen!
Step 1: write down the list of reasons why you have not quit your job yet.
Take 3-5 minutes to do this, while reading this article, let it all out! After you’re done, continue to your next step!
Step 2: Reflect on the reason you have mentioned, and think to yourself if they are worth it? Can you have them anywhere else as easily as you do now?
Step 3: Think of how happy do the reasons you have mentioned make you feel?
This is the turning point, sometimes what we think we need and what we grow attached to, is not really what makes us happy, crazy right?
Now, Let’s talk about money!
You are working because of the money, you need money, the money is your happy drug! Where there is no money or money is not worth it, or you cannot afford what you like, what would make you happy… well …. you become unhappy!
How can you benefit more from your job and turn it to your happy place!
It is not a perspective shift but a financial gain.
Here are three ways
1.) Rewarding pay
2.) Fair work
3.) Growth opportunity
How do you create those in a space where they don’t exist?
1.) Value your work, create value in your work. Even in data entry, you can create value, a faster system, a more comprehensive way, etc... What would you need to do to create value?
Working with no value means you are replaceable, and can not earn rewarding pay.
2.) Fair work means you understand the life-work balance, you understand the manager-employee balance, and you understand your accomplishments and give them fairness to the big picture. Fair work is marketing your accomplishments and recognizing other people's accomplishments. What would it take for you to see the big picture or to create balance?
3.) Growth opportunity
What makes a rich person rich is seeking to constantly improve and grow. Every person has different opportunities for some to enhance education, for others, it's to enhance their bargaining for others it's to become generous.
Growth opportunities come when you want them. They come beautifully packaged in what you probably call “a problem” every opportunity comes packaged as a problem.
The problems are specifically created to help you. For example, if you are stingy it will come as a way to spend money. Are you disorganized? It will come in the form of getting organized or vice versa. Other times the problem is internal such as being a decision maker or assertive. Are you crippled with doubts and fears? What will be the problem also known as an opportunity?
Don't chase money! WANT THE MONEY, and attract the money using these three basic principles:
1.) Rewarding pay- create value at work
2.) Fair work- Create balance in everything, even the balance of other people's work in comparison
3.)Growth opportunities- ask to grow and embrace all “problems” that come in the way.
